E-Records FAQ

Who can use this platform?

Registered builders and licensed building firms recognized by CORBON can create an account and submit credentials for verification.

What documents do I need to upload?

You may be required to upload your professional license, degree certificate, practice permit, and any renewal certificates issued by CORBON.

How long does verification take?

Processing typically takes up to 12 days depending on the volume of submissions. You can track your request status after submission.

What happens after my credentials are verified?

Your records are digitally stamped, assigned a unique credential ID, and synchronized with PCOMS — making them available for confirmation during procurement and employment checks.

What is PCOMS?

PCOMS is the Public Procurement Credential Management System. It enables government agencies and procurement officers to confirm the eligibility of professionals on building projects in real time.

Can someone verify my credentials without my involvement?

Yes. Employers, procurement officers, and government agencies can search for your verified profile using your name, membership number, licence ID, or QR code on the public verification portal.

Who do I contact if my verification is rejected?

Reach out to CORBON directly via the contact details on the official website at corbon.gov.ng for guidance on resubmission.
